Peter Pilotto Spring 2013

The designing duo behind Peter Pilotto is best known for their feminine yet striking digitally printed wears. Peter Pilotto is focused towards textiles and prints whereas Christopher De Vos concentrates more on silhouettes and draping. Flared sleeves on blouses, exaggerated peplum tops, heavily beaded skirts, skinny graphic trousers, and cutout dresses with pockets in the boldest of colors are definitely not for the wary. And I love every bit of it!

Pharrell Williams Models Billionaire Boys Club and A Bathing Ape Spring 2013 Collections

For the latest issue of Japanese Cool Trans magazine, Pharrell Williams is caught modeling the new Spring 2013 Collections by Bape and his own Billionaire Boys Club line. Not only is Pharrell for many in the Western world, especially amongst the younger generation, the main reason they know about A Bathing Ape, but if you remember, before Jay-Z taken a partner role in the BBC business, Billionaire Boys Club actually started as a partnership between Pharrell Williams and Bape founder NIGO.

Mr. Bathing Ape 2013 Spring/Summer Collection Featuring Toshimi Watanabe

A recently released photo editorial by Mr. Bathing Ape sees Toshimi Watanabe sporting a range of staples from the label’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Being one of the original members of Japanese Hip-Hop ensemble TOKYO No.1 SOUL SET, he participated in the first World Wide Bape Heads Show back in 1997. Now 16 years later Watanabe seems to have aged gracefully, and above all in style, effortlessly rocking a three piece suit, shirt, tie and hat. The Spring/Summer collection is now available at select stockists and online retailer worldwide.

FROM SINNER TO SAINT: Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese as you've never seen her before

It’s not the usual style of clothing you would expect to see burlesque queen Dita Von Teese wearing.
Clad in an outrageous Christian Lacroix wedding dress, the sultry fetish model poses during a fashion shoot in Paris for the latest edition of Harper’s Bazaar Russia...

The 37-year-old is covered from head-to-toe in the ivory-toned gown which is bejeweled with colourful roses and a headdress with a golf leaf design.

With her head tilted to one side, Von Teese looks Madonna-like during the ‘Saint And Sinner’ themed fashion shoot, which launches her new Party Edition lingerie range for Wonderbra.

But she also reverts to form by wearing a provocative black outfit.

Leaning against a bicycle in a Parisian street, her coat is unbuttoned, revealing stocking and suspenders and a lacy bra.

Von Teese, who is divorced from shock rocker Marilyn Mason, explains why she models herself on pinups from the Forties and Fifties, saying: ‘Part of the reason I style myself this way is because I never felt I could live up to what is typically shown to us as being sexy in mainstream culture.

'I never felt like a natural beauty or that I could be pretty without make-up.
‘No matter what I do, I’m never going to look like someone like Gisele Bundchen. No matter what! So I like creating a fantasy and using glamour as my way of being sexy.’

Temptress Von Teese launched her first underwear range with Wonderbra in 2008.

Buttero Colored Sole Desert Boots

It really comes as no surprise at this point, to say that Buttero has been delivering some serious footwear options this Fall 2012, with their latest addition to the mix being these colored sole desert boots. With brown, blue and taupe premium suede uppers, the inside of the boots is smartly fitted with the brand’s custom wool lining. However, the main focus really goes for the crepe rubber soles, which are individually hand painted in bright shades of green and blue, making these another great and colorful option for cold Winter days. Heineken Partners with Mark McNairy and Union LA for “Heineken 100″

Heineken®, the world’s leading premium beer brand, today announced their partnership with the LA-based retail store Union LA, and fashion designer Mark McNairy, for the “Heineken 100” program—an influencer and celebrity seeding program that celebrates tastemakers that represents Heineken’s “Man of the World.” For the partnership, Union LA and Mark McNairy created a signature colorway for McNairy’s classic saddle shoe in honor of the partnership.

“We are thrilled to partner with the extraordinary fashion visionaries, Mark McNairy and Union LA, for the second product from the ‘Heineken 100’ 2012 program” said Olga Osminkina, Senior Brand Director, HEINEKEN USA. “Mark and Chris truly exemplify Heineken’s consumer, a ‘Man of the World’ that is forward thinking, savvy and enjoys worldly experiences.” Heineken has commissioned the creative direction of Los Angeles-based retail store, Union LA, and fashion designer, Mark McNairy, to create another color offering of McNairy’s leather saddle shoe. This shoe was chosen for the collaboration because, like Heineken, it is a perfect fusion of classic, traditional, modern and progressive. The all black leather shoe with a classic silhouette features a modern twist by incorporating a cushioned sole in Heineken green. "Union LA and Mark McNairy are excited to work with a stellar brand like Heineken for their coveted ‘Heineken 100’ program," says Chris Gibbs, owner of Union LA. "When designing the shoe, Mark and I used Heineken's signature kelly green color to provide an eye-catching colorway for the sole." In its third year, the Heineken 100 influencer program identifies and celebrates various tastemakers across the nation, who represent Heineken’s “Man of the World” platform. Previous collaborative products for the program include: Ariel 7 headphones, Tsovet watches, Union LA t-shirts, Android Homme sneakers, New Era fitted caps, tote bags designed by fashion duo Dee & Ricky, and most recently a limited-edition weekender duffle bag with Public School.
