Día de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday that honors our ancestors and loved ones who have passed. What I love most about the Day of the Dead is that rather than being a day of mourning, it is a day of celebration. Altars are constructed and offerings are bestowed. There are plenty of festive decorations, probably the most recognizable being the skeletons (calacas) and the skulls (calaveras). With its vibrant colors and iconic designs, it’s hard to overlook this truly special holiday.
Keep it Simple!
